February 4, 2024 - Liked this a lot, but it wasn't quite on the same level as the '20 Roncagliette I had a few days ago. This one's much darker fruited with a stronger black cherry character and more savoury aromatics that lean more towards dried florals and earth, rather than the brighter/more exotic sandalwood and fresh rose petals in the '20 Roncagliette - I don't know if that's the vintage or the site, though the difference was striking. The palate presence and overall balance are terrific - it's silken smooth in the mouth with very fine grained tannin (that eases up with air and a roast chicken alongside), and the whole package is very impressive.

December 25, 2023 - quite beautiful nose pnp, gentle tannins, spicy, fruit, gentle and well balanced, with time/air it builds up, complexity on the nose, not 100รน5 convinced on the palate that tends to be a tad tiering, but overall a good wine for me

August 21, 2023 - Overall feel is quite opulent with cherries in syrup and rose petals but very well judged powdery tannins just about keep things balanced. A bit more freshness and acidity would've nice but this was very good. 4
