May 11, 2024 - Stupid good value at around ~$19. Starts out slightly reductive but that blows off within minutes while a core of fresh dark fruited flavours emerge. There's a light spiciness to the aromatics, but beyond that it's not super complex. But it's absolutely delicious with the same brightness and joie de vivre to the fruit I find in many Bedrock wines, it's medium weight with a silky, gentle texture on the palate, and the whole package is very easy to drink for both wine geeks and non-geeks.

March 5, 2024 - Aired this out for a couple of hours and did improve quite a bit. Excellent pairing with lamb chops. Big nose of crushed dark berries, violets and pommel horse sweat. Generous mouth of mulberries, aniseed and tart crust. Medium length finish of charred matchsticks and good acid.

November 20, 2023 - Ripe and rich. Plenty of black fruit, vanilla, licorice and spices. Great structure on the palate from the soft tannins and high acidity. Long bitter dark chocolate finish.

    Medium ruby colour.

Pronounced aromas of ripe black cherry, ripe black currant, ripe black plum, strawberry, all spice, mocha, dark chocolate.

    Pronounced palate.

Full body, high acidity, medium (+) tannins, long finish.

December 1, 2022 - Silky and seductive, the dark fruit is complemented by spices and light cedar notes. Wonderful in the mouth, retains great balance throughout. A joy to drink!
