Community Tasting Notes 2

    January 28, 2024 - Colour: Dark ruby, a bit on the purple side;

    Nose: Dominated with peppery and quinsy notes, along with hints of blackberry, leather, and dark chocolate. There is also the vanilla, oaky component.

    Palate: Quite acidic right off the bat and tannic, I can definitely taste the alcohol. Pronounced green pepper note and spices, along with ripe blackberries. Long, intense, bold finish. Overall, it is very ripe and jammy, definitely on the sweet side.

    Overall, solid new world syrah but nothing overly special for me.
