  March 17, 2024 - Informal notes, but what a solid wine. Plenty of earth and dried herb, but a healthy and balanced dose of fruit. This was followed by a refreshing lift of acid on the finish. This was a really great deal and I wish I had more. Piared with souvlaki and various Mediterranean foods.

  March 13, 2024 - A couple months since the last bottle and my prior note still applies. This has been a very consistent case of wine throughout the past year and change. Over that period, the bouquet has blossomed and clarified with the structure becoming more refined, but throughout this vintage has been truly exceptional.
  One bottle left. I may let it cellar for a few more months before enjoying it.

  January 28, 2024 - A year after my initial acquisition of a shared case, and I am still singing this wine's praises.
  A bit closed down at first, but an hour's decant opened it right up nicely to show off its delectable aromas of dark berries, tobacco leaf, chocolate, and a cardamom dominant warm spice blend. A touch of loam lingers around the edges.
  It's smoother than the last bottle -the tannins more convivial than grabby. I think this may have another year left -or two at most- before it diminishes. Very well balanced.
  You can taste Spain in this, and I love it.
  
  It accompanied a dinner of smoker roasted Santa Maria Trip, gochujang sauced bok choy, rosemary roasted potatoes, and a simple peperonata.
  
  Still absolutely delicious on the second day.
