  April 26, 2014 - Initially, a little closed on the nose; but big and rich in the mouth. Raspberry, blackberry, spice and tobacco. Good structure. A medium to long finish.

  November 23, 2013 - Drinking very well and still loaded with massive fruit. Deep color, intense bouquet, good balance and a long finish.

  September 3, 2011 - Drank September 2011. Deep purple color, medium intensity zin nose. Nice flavors, but muted. Drinking more like a good Rhone than a win, but w/o the acid of an old world wine. The wine is good but has no kick or edge and the fruits are muted. Proves the old adage that zin isn't meant for aging. The bottle says it will go 5-7 years but I would drink up! Based on this I plan to get into our 2007 Lilly Hill sooner rather than later. Nice sipper but didn't have the power to stand up to bbq ribs. Good wine, but not what you expect from a Bella zin.
