June 29, 2021 - Very fresh and complex with flower and lemon notes on the nose and palate. Not a lot of acidity so the texture is somewhat creamy. That seems to be typical of the '03s, at least the few I've had. That said, this wine at nearly 18yo, shows no signs of falling apart and is quite delicious.

September 5, 2019 - Lively acidity. Good weight on the palate. A hint of oily petrol. Some lemon curd. Crisp finish

    December 18, 2014 - No formal notes.
Nose with hints of petroleum & sweet lemon fruit and apples.
Palate shows a bit sweeter than normally for this wine, and also lacks acidity.
    Sweet apples.
Missing acid for balance and development.
Something that showed tonight in all the 2003’s tasted from J.J.
Still, a very fine Spatlese, especially given the vintage.

December 25, 2011 - Honeydew, melon, lemondrop, elderflower, slate, petrol, along with peaches and cream. Mouthfeel was lively and spritzy while it spread out and be came creamy to a long lived fimish that showcased the lemondrop characteristic nicely. Drink over next 20 years.
