  April 7, 2024 - Day 1 - the impression is overwhelmingly one of reduction. Just flint and matchstick. Clearly there’s concentration and depth, but it comes across as very neutral underneath. Any fruit or florals are buried deep.
  
  Day 2 - most but not all of the reduction is gone, still very mineral forward, with light notes of honey-lemon, red apple, and a tinge of honeydew melon. Lots of stuffing here but doesn’t quite fell in balance to me. Maybe in 5+ years.

  July 21, 2023 - Consistent with previous bottle. Nice balance of fruit, acidity and oak. Paired great with pan seared scallops over fava bean puree.

  May 27, 2023 - No detailed notes, but this was really lovely. Many of the notes below are right on for my palate. Lemon, citrus, white flowers, slight honey, flinty matchstick reduction, but also a certain presence, a a concentration on the palate that stood up really well with food. This is a really well made wine: from a great vineyard, but also a very talented winemaker.
