March 2, 2024 - Aromas of earth and fruit that I’d peg as a Sonoma Coast wine if served blind. Tasty wine, with a good balance of fruit and spice. Finishes just a touch short. Good value at $45. Don’t think I’ve had a Burgundy this nice at this price point in a long time.

May 13, 2023 - Casual Saturday Tastings (Northern Chicago 'burbs): Stand up tasting. 2019 ripeness, showing mostly black cherry, some red cherry hints. Medium weight, good length. Good now.

March 11, 2023 - Saturday Afternoon Tasting (Chicago Wine - Glenview IL): Walkaround tasting. Ripe and fleshy black fruit that easily retains its balance. Good weight, slightly simple.

February 28, 2023 - Nose is expressive and elegant. From the first whiff it tells you this is going to be a pretty wine. On the palate, it doesn't disappoint. Tart dark cherry fruit, earth, salinity, stones. Medium to full bodied, a great balance of concentration and acidity, fruit and minerality. Thoroughly enjoyed this with some homemade beef short ribs. So nice to drink with dinner, could go with so many dishes. In a perfect world, this would be my everyday red.
