  On the nose: Fresh leather, Tobacco, Black licorice, Star anise, Smoke, Burnt wood, Green pepper, Black pepper, Pine, Wet Clay.
  
  On the palate: Dark berries, Cinnamon, Fresh cranberries, Black licorice, Dried plums, Slight vanilla bean.
  
  Will develop with complexity with cellaring.

  Toasted oak, leather, Tobacco leaf, star anise, cranberry, charcoal, smoke, concentrated nose.
  
  Dried cranberries, black pepper, spice, licorice, molasses, clay, dark earthy finish.
  
  Still young, drink 2026 and beyond.

  November 20, 2021 - Château Mondorion, Etoiles de Mondorion, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, 2019: Deep garnet color. On the nose, blackberries, raspberries, hints of cedar, earth, and a charming touch of brett. Medium-bodied, elegant and deep. On the palate, juicy raspberries, crunchy blackberries, followed by green olives, graphite, and loamy dirt, with a pleasant note of anis, medium acidity, and polished, grainy tannins along with baker's chocolate that lingers long on a savory, earthy finish. 13.5% Abv. Drink 2024-2031. 91+
