May 7, 2018 - Upon opening, this gave hints of the great balance that has been this wine's calling card. Fist sip fine, Second sip suspect. As it sat in the glass, it became obvious it is CORKED!! This is the second of eight bottles of this wine that have been corked. A pity, as when it's on, it's as nice a modern Spanish wine as I've had.

March 24, 2016 - Explosive on the nose.....lots of ripe berries with high quality oak. On the palate this is full bodied balanced with powerful tannins. Excellent. 92+
