April 29, 2024 - No Detailed notes: After the good experiences I had with their lower offerings, this one was disappointing. Lime, orange, tropical fruit and some minerality. Still young, so hopefully some age will do it good and add depth. I do feel that there are quite a few Riesling GG that, even in youth offer more depth and complexity than this one.

November 30, 2023 - A bit reserved on the nose not giving that much. However, the wine did show perfumes of petroleum, tropical fruits - mango, pineapple, apricot. Very pleasant acidity on the palate with medium length.
Keep this away for another 5 years.

    September 15, 2023 - Color: light gold
Nose: green apple, apricot, struck match and wet stone, kumquat zest, lime zest, octane. It shifts and changes
Palate: high acidity, medium-full body with a dense texture. Beautiful palate that adds a bit of berry to the ensemble
    Finish: long with almond

This is young I think, in a phase that may be a bit closed, but absolutely wonderful with two hours of air. The quality here is obvious, but I think this is going to be quite a lot better in 5 years

March 10, 2023 - Outstanding Riesling Trocken GG (Silberlack) from Schloss Johannisberg.
Light golden color in the glass with aromas of lemon, orange peel, vanilla, and nectarines.
On the palate, light to medium bodied mouthfeel and engaging flavor notes mirroring the wine’s aromas.
    Excellent acidity with lingering finish.
Even after second day properly stored in refrigerator, this wine is delicious!!
