  May 29, 2021 - Stunning, striking, earthy nose of dark fruit, cigar box, forest floor, licorice, maple syrup with vegetal plumes of asparagus and fresh-cut grass, superbly balanced palate propelled by a bevy of fruit flavors including ripe plum, blueberry sauce and sweet black cherry, further enhanced by notes of sweet tobacco, vanilla, licorice and chocolate, soft, rounded tannins, wonderful finish suggesting chocolate-covered cherry. Unfiltered with a moderate sediment, this bottle is a marvelous example.
