Community Tasting Notes 7

March 9, 2018 - Spoiled. Volatile acids off charts. What a shame.

September 10, 2017 - Needs more fruit and acid, but pleasant drink with food. Nothing special.

August 19, 2017 - Some brick to the ruby colouring. Nose is medium low intensity. Not overly complex but substantial secondary notes present. Initial flavour is a floral note giving way to leather, tobacco, barn?? and cherries in the background. Seems overpriced for a back vintage off the shelf doesn't hold up to similar priced wines.

July 24, 2017 - Dark ruby color and a nice taste on the palate, though doesn't linger as long as a top-tier Bordeaux would. For the price though, this wine is a great value.

November 7, 2015 - The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like mineral, black pepper, violet, tea, tobacco and plum. It tastes like blackberry, prune, stoniness and black pepper.
