  March 23, 2024 - 4th Saturday Brown Bagger (J&L's): Double blind. Pale color with notes of peach and pear with a terrific floral overtone. Stone fruit on the palate. It took a little bit of time and swirling for this to really begin to strut its stuff and reveal its varietal character. Very nice, and easy to pick out as riesling. (J&L)

  March 9, 2024 - Nice color. The nose shows aromas of ripe fruits, orange blossom, petrol, minerals and a hint of lees. This is almost medium bodied on the palate with very good concentration and real class. The medium plus length finish features a mineral element. A bit tight this evening.

  March 5, 2024 - A deeper yellow straw, still somewhat pale in the glass. On the nose, it is very typical petrol with strong fruit notes of orange, cantaloupe, and honeydew. On the pallet, the wine is refreshing and crisp. Well-balanced acidity and moderate length to the finish. Notes of white flower and strong mineral character to the middle pallet and finish.

  February 18, 2024 - Impressive overall. Nice mineral underneath lots of fruit; mainly citrus. Should age well, if I can keep any around!

  February 6, 2024 - Lovely gold color. Beautiful depth of aromas packed in here – papaya, lime, white peach, yellow flowers, honey, ocean spray, smashed rocks. The palate has precise balance and a dry, zesty appeal with a pure mouthfeel. Flavors of yellow pears, white peach, and papaya taste ripe and alive. Then the waves of non-fruit complexities rush in: slate, minerals, ocean jetty, flinty tones, with perfume, and honeysuckle. Tingling minerals last long onto the finish. Great stuff, classic Finger Lakes Riesling goodness.
