  March 28, 2024 - Pale ruby red colour. Nice bouquet of cherries and violets. Cherries and dark berries on the palate, with a touch of truffle, and a good clean finish.

  March 5, 2024 - Medium-dark ruby red in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, strawberries & plums with overtones of earthy/dusty & floral notes of violets, dried herbs & a hint of minerals. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of sour cherries, plums & strawberries with dried herbs & minerals. Lingering finish. Quite accessible at present with decanting & airing. It appears to be made for near term enjoyment. Excellent QPR for an everyday Chianti.

  January 13, 2024 - Quick note: Saturated, glass-staining purple. Tomato, olive, black fruit, and a touch of menthol on the nose. Gobs of sweetish fruit, decent acidity, and soft round tannins. A simple wine for a hearty meal.
