March 23, 2024 - Pretty close to peak I think. Bit of petrol on the nose, some lemon/line notes, beautiful minerality and a racy acidity. My wife said it tasted "nervous" - which I think is a wonderful description. Reminded us very much of a Jean-Claude Bachelet Chassagne that we drank recently. Another brilliant effort from Seth - making Montrachet in Oregon.

June 30, 2023 - Very youthful, powerful oak, bristiling acidity, fresh, chalky with good texture and length. Picked 9/19. 100% new oak. Bottled with 50ppm free SO2 under 55mm x 25mm Aquitaine Liege punch cork.

I begrudgingly recommend this to be consumed sooner rather than later due to the challenging vintage. This showed absolutely zero issues but the wine is singing now.

February 9, 2023 - Citrus, lemon oil, Asian pear, jasmine, toasted almond, butter and minerality. Delicate and well balanced, like a youthful mini-Chevalier Montrachet. Good finesse and medium finish. Need at least an hour to open up.

November 11, 2022 - Tasting with Seth Morgen

Richer and deeper than any of the wines today. The fruit turns a little more to the tropical side (in context of the lineup).COncentrated, almost a distillation of fruit and soil. Some subtle wood toast and coconut. The most exotic of the lineup. the fruit has some serious depth to it. That said, for me it was very impressive, but I loved the other wines more.

November 26, 2021 - Thanksgiving Weekend in Willamette; 11/25/2021-11/27/2021 (Willamette Valley OR): Wine already assembled in tank. Very impressive at all levels. All sorts of orchard fruit with great depth and concentration. Good brightness, very good length. From 1968 planted block of Draper clone, Volcanic soil, 100% new oak. 92-93+ point potential.
