January 21, 2024 - Day 1 - a bit tart and tight. Raspberry, damp earth, cranberry - very red fruits. Corked it and came back to it 2 days later - much improved aroma and body/finish. A knock out really. This wine way over delivers for the price paid.

January 19, 2024 - Blinds w/ Jenny's supper club (Jenny's): (blind) Light skin. Low aromatics. Slight garnet.
    14%
    Medium tannins.
    Medium plus acid.

    Southern rhone?
    New world Pinot?

Called: Southern Rhone Cotes du rhone.

Actually 2020 Faively Gevrey vv 13%.

After an hour, it became more aromatic - some red fruit, a little raspberry, a little sweaty, earthy, fruit.

August 25, 2023 - Deep red ruby color.

Intense sweet cherry and strawberries on the nose. Hints of smoke, earthy notes, sulphat.

Well balanced, intense flavors, long finish, quite complex with different flavours. M+ accidity, dry and medium bodied. Medium tannins.

Some leather on the palate, lots of vanilla mixed with ripe strawberries. Parfume, hints of violet.

A very nice complex wine, a little too bitter finish but will hopefully age well.

July 9, 2023 - Very young, but already a lot of fun. Cherry red & lots of red fruit (raspberries, strawberries). Tasted at 15°C - perfect for a warm summer evening at this stage. Probably even better in 5+ years.

November 10, 2021 - Wednesday Cellar Visits in Burgundy - Louis Jadot, Faiveley, and Bernard Moreau (Cote d'Or): Barrel tasting at the domaine from a single new oak barrel. Meaty black fruit with lots of density for its level, even ending with charming textures and good length. Good+ for its level.
