December 24, 2020 - Beautiful and mature bouquet with barnyard and horse stable smells. On the palate the same impressions. Good acidity and sweet spices. Still enough bite to be a real pleasure. Drink within two years.

June 9, 2017 - Darkly colored with some edge bricking. Beautiful nose of blackcurrant, lavender and cocoa, earth and cedar. Touches of tobacco and forest floor. Fragrant. Palate quite intense with deeply flavoured black fruits with a fine tannic structure with touches of tar and tobacco at the finish. Quite mature and mellow tonight.

November 23, 2015 - Weekly tasting group #193; some Bordeaux (@ My place): Beautiful and mature bouquet with still some cassis, red berries, sweet spices, earth, autumn impressions and some vanilla. On the palate dark (cassis) and red berries, forest floor, a touch of bell pepper, salty licorice and vanilla. Good acidity, mild tannin with still some bite and soft bitterness in the finish. At its peak now. No extreme hurry, but probably wise to drink it over the next two years.

August 13, 2014 - Darkly colored. Beautiful nose of blackcurrant, lavender and cocoa, earth and cedar. Fragrant. Palate quite intense with deeply flavoured black fruits with quite strong tannic structure - fine but well defined leading into long finish. A mini-96 Ch Margaux that has survived the 2011 Brisbane flood in fine shape !

May 13, 2014 - J'ai ouvert deux bouteilles. Une était bouchonnée. L'autre s'est révélée riche et puissante. Tannins longs et fins. Une belle découverte! A boire
