March 11, 2024 - amazing, best barolo i tried from vietti. Plenty of structure but bags of fruit showing and my favourite style of barolo!

March 4, 2024 - This soars from the glass, it is so lifted and fresh. Aromas of diverse red and black fruits, sweet red cherry, strawberry and raspberry are so pretty, but there are dark fruit notes too... plus roses, mint, citrus, pine forest... On the palate it is deep and richly textured, almost velvety already, but the tannins are grippy and serious, the fruit has moments when it feels candied or liqueur-like, but the structure keeps it all in check, and beautiful earthy and mineral tones provide balancing accents. Super long and intense finish, beautiful roses pop as everything fades. Amazing wine. This will be worth following for 20+ years, but it may come around to a very smooth state within 5 years, the tannins are so refined and the fruit is so luscious and intense.

June 29, 2022 - An incredible ~20 wines tasted with incredible knowledge transfer about Vietti (they are badass if you haven't had their wines)- wines, history, style, etc. No note, impressions only. Speed tasting.
A very good wine in the making (Barrel sample). Has all of the components I look for- black fruits, mineral, acidic and tannic structure- plus a hint of dark 80% chocolate- Buy. -

December 2, 2021 - Return to Piemonte!; 11/25/2021-12/4/2021 (Castello di Sinio, Alba, other various locations): Barrel tasting and this is the kindof wine that you can’t do too much of because it just coats the mouth and tongue. Grippy tannins. Dark and kindof intense and powerful. Of course very young, but can see some good things coming.
