  January 27, 2023 - This wine has gotten better every time I’ve had it. Seems to have just enough fruit to balance out the tannins. Very enjoyable.

  November 11, 2022 - I often find that buying the second, or in this case, third, wine of the great wineries offers great value and insight into tremendous winemaking. Certainly at under $40 this is great bang for the buck.
  
  There is nothing subtle about this wine. Even so young aromas of cassis, graphite and rich black plum jump from the glass.
  
  I struggle with the 15% alcohol which is quite hot and very present on the palate. Better in time no doubt.
  
  Flavours of vanilla and dark chocolate covered raspberry.
  
  Long finish. Drink from 2024.
