Community Tasting Notes 1

    January 28, 2023 - Color: Light straw

Nose: French oak on the nose. Sweet cantaloupe.

Palate: Toffee and caramel. Medium plus acidity. Fresh apricot and stonefruit.

Body: Medium body. Lighter than expected.

Finish: Fresh acidity that lingers. Not overly rounded, which makes it seem off balance.

Not a bad wine, but not as nice as other Pouilly-Fuisses in the same price range. Needs more roundness on the finish to compare. Bright and fresh, with a lack of polish on the finish.
