December 14, 2023 - My first Amarone. I was wondering if it would be more concentrated, but it was quite tasty (and Jo liked it). Agree with other notes: plum, currant, dark fruit. Not hot to me.

January 18, 2023 - Plum and camphor on the nose. On the palate, plum, black cherry, and notes of raisin, cocoa, and something earthy, with moderate tannins and good acidity; this does show a little alcoholic heat. It was a good value at under $40.

January 8, 2022 - It’s balance of dry, dark grapes with some acidity is good. It’s drinking well now, will be even better in a couple years is my hunch.
