February 16, 2023 - I guess I like it. It’s different. The malbec, which I don’t care for as a dominant grape, is evident, but distracted by the petite syrah & charbono, causing a strange variation of flavors in the mouth. Very unique flavor profile, first blue fruit, transitioning to red, then black, in a swirl. Pruny overtones, too, and an aspect that’s a bit stewed. Fine tannins, moderate acid, good balance, nice finish.

August 17, 2022 - Instant gratification. A Napa wine that is all California but nowhere near over the top. Terrific fruit, great energy, saucy spice. Precise and persistent. This is outstanding winemaking.
