February 2, 2024 - A real rocker of a Cotes de Rhone. Produced by the classic Chateauneuf producer La Nerthe. La Cassagnes is an area just north of Orange. The product itself is stunning. A well structured, well raised, well educated, top class CdRhone with an aroma-list that also contains black olives and raisins on top of the usual suspects.
🍽️ I combined this fine bottle with a fine Nepalese dish: Rogan Josh (lamb) 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

January 7, 2024 - Not crazy about 15% wines but this wore it well, especially one hour in once all fruit notes have nicely melded unfurling layer after layer of something different.
