March 27, 2024 - Grade: EX+. Modern, extracted style, but not overdone. This wine needed a 2 hour decant to settle down and was even better on day 2 after vacuvin. Overall, this is a really great effort.

    Color: Dark Ruby, light rim
Nose: heady aromas of intense dried-cherry, cloves, menthol, vanilla, cedar
Palate: combines power with elegance, intense cherry, hibiscus, menthol, vanilla, coconut, great mouth feel, great drive with firm tannins on the mid palate. The precisely focussed acidity keeps things fresh, leading to a super-long, dry, sour berry finish. I would give this another 5 years to fully develop, should last for decades. Outstanding QPR.

January 23, 2024 - Probably needs a bit more time. Tasty after a long (for us) decant. Thinking 2-3 more years, but maybe worth hanging on to one

November 19, 2023 - Color is dark eggplant. On the nose, immediately after the pour some oddly pleasant turpentine, oak, plums, stewed berries, earth, tobacco. Very pleasant palate, very savory, leather, tobacco, cherry. Hint of black pepper on the finish. Savory and delicious. Tannins are fierce. Very pleasant now, but I think this would be served by another 5-10 years in the cellar (and a healthy decant). Would happily buy again.

June 28, 2023 - Needs a bare minimum of 5 years to come together, but some promising elements for the future. Very disparate right now. New oak, tart red currant and plum, coconut. Plenty of tannins and acidity to last forever. Forget about this until at least 2028.
