Community Tasting Notes 5

March 8, 2024 - Quite high in alcohol and you can feel it - it has a nice kick to it with medium plus tannis, and lots of dark druit. I probably popped this too soon, there is lots of life ahead here.

December 13, 2023 - Fairly typical CDP. Soft fruit with some length, although the higher alcohol didn’t dissipate as expected. Good now but really needs more time. 3.7 stars

October 29, 2023 - The wine equivalent of a tuxedo-wearing penguin - it looks sharp, but it has its quirks!

Upon opening the bottle, you're greeted by an inviting aroma that combines red & dark fruits with subtle herbal notes. Definite CdP quality.

The taste is rich & full-bodied, with flavors of blackberries, cherries - & a touch of spice. The well-integrated tannins provide a smooth & satisfying finish.

I popped too soon. Hold this & you will be rewarded.

July 12, 2023 - Subdued nose with concentrated fruit, mineral, and sweet spice aromas. Full, dry palate with good glycerin and extract; polished tannins, good length.
    3.5/5
