  February 13, 2024 - Three hour decant, I enjoyed the nose more than the palate here, with a solid delivery of red fruit and oak elements on the nose. The palate was pretty simple and fruit forward with enough structure from its time in oak to keep it palatable. Not sure if aging further is going to improve this in any way.

  March 12, 2023 - Medium ruby colour, clear, shiny, very good. nose: wood and alcohol in the first attack; later fruit appears - red and black cherries, plums; plus some spice - cloves, nutmeg; quite nice. taste: medium (+) acidity, large tannins volume, pinchy but not chalky. fruit - red & black cherries, black plums, chokeberries; medium (+) finish with cocoa, coffee, vanilla. Bit overdone but with good potential.
