October 6, 2022 - 30 min decant. Deep dark purple magenta color. Boysenberry and nutmeg on the rich, jammy nose. Smooth, dry, full bodied palate. Firm, full tannins on the longish finish.
This is drinking very youthful. It has terrific potential. If drinking now, this needs a 2-3 hour decant. -

July 31, 2022 - We have had many versions of wines with the Plavac Mali grape during the past 2 weeks in Croatia, and several from Dingac (the appellation). But this producer is head and shoulders above the rest. Quite a big tannic grape but lovely nose and plenty of complexity, almost drinking like a heavy bordeaux blend. We have had multiple vintages but currently our hosts are stocked up with the 2017. To be honest, I haven’t detected big differences with the other vintages we have tried.
