July 3, 2023 - I maintain that this bottle is the best QPR new world Pinot I've experienced. I've now tried every vintage from 2015-2019, and I tend to prefer the cooler vintages (2017 and 2019) over the warmer vintages (2016 & 2018). There is such fantastic OR typicity, with red fruit and spice in spades but with an extra dose of minerality and earth that is only present in the best expressions of OR pinot. There is enough acidity and tannin present that these bottles tend to shine with a few years of age, and I'm curious to see how long some of these can last in the cellar.

There are more serious bottles of wine on the market for more $$, but in terms of hitting the sweet spot of 'quaffability', complexity/nuance, and crowd-pleasing deliciousness, this juice is the shit.

I hesitate to even tell you all about it; it's that good... but Greg and Melissa deserve the credit (they also happen to be excellent people, to boot) <3
