January 13, 2024 - I love this wine. Has now reached full maturity. Decanted for about 90 minutes. Great nose with lots of dark fruit. Moderate acidity and good mouthfeel - still quite some tannins left. The taste lingers for many minutesss. Two bottles left and will drink them over the next few years.

April 21, 2023 - Woah….needs a 2 hour decant to really open . Phases in and out of being closed to expressive: Didnt decant and let breathe in the glass only …last glass was the best . Cherry core, deep blue berries, currants , hint of anise and tar, long finish

February 25, 2014 - Aromas of blue fruits immediately upon opening. Burnt wood, tar, cherry on the palate. Big wine. More heat on the finish than I remember from last bottle.

December 30, 2012 - Flowers, cherries, tar... a little hollow/watery in the mid palate...other than that, really amazing.

August 4, 2012 - Dark, opaque purple color. Black and red fruits, smoke, coffee notes and some baking spices. Big wine, yet still coming together.
