January 20, 2024 - Loved this wine. Hedonistic and easy to enjoy now, but will certainly age. Will it improve? It will be different, but not sure that it will improve from tonight’s expericen. There was a beautiful balance to this young wine

September 22, 2023 - Dense, savory, plush. Perfect amount of vegetal. Acid a touch low. Nose has subtle perfume. Oak doesn’t seem out of balance to me as noted by prior poster.

August 16, 2023 - Nose: Cocoa, blackberries, dark earth. Palate: Weighty mouthfeel, loads of dirt and earth up front that transition nicely into perfectly ripe blueberry and acai; faint cherry; polished tannins that are almost creamy in texture. I love Jacky Blot's wines as they tend to be fuller bodied and more robust to my palate while maintaining all the rich earth, dark, fruit background. On day two, the creamy cocoa character is still there but the fruit degrades a bit; I definitely preferred it on day one more.

August 16, 2023 - Plush black fruit but oak is entirely unintegrated and makes the wine difficult to enjoy. This is going to require a few more years before it’s even approachable. I love these wines even in their youth usually so I’m not sure what’s going on. Acid is sufficient for the vintage, it’s not unbalanced but it’s remarkable similar to a gauthier wine
