  July 6, 2021 - Light straw in colour, this is still quite young, just entering its secondary phase, evidenced by a bit of butterscotch and truffle on the intense, concentrated, medium bodied palate, along with a great deal of minerality. The warm vintage and wood this cuvee sees does not show at all now. Elegant and powerful, and it should last another 10 years easily, but drinking very well now - give it a good decant, as it talks some time to open up (A-).

  September 15, 2013 - No formal notes. Showing a bit of ripe and round vintage character. Not advanced but not quite as fresh as previous bottles. Based on this bottle, time to drink up. Very good.

  August 2, 2012 - No formal notes. This shows the vintage but in a retrained style with citrus fruits and some salinity showing through. Fairly weighty on the palate with a richer mouthfeel but with good acidity. Drinking well and should continue to develop over the next 2-3 years. Very good.

  November 10, 2011 - Bill's Monthly Lunch - November 2011 (Vancouver, BC): Light to medium yellow with a greenish tinge to it. The nose here somewhat surprised me as it was clean and fresh and showing quite a bit of Chablis character which I haven’t found in many of the 06 Chablis I’ve tasted. Nose and palate had notes of citrus and minerality with good acidity and slightly round and weighty mouthfeel. While this didn’t show like an 04 or 07, it’s showed less ’06 character than I remembered which is a good thing for me. I’m sure if this was tasted side by side with an 07 its 06 vintage characteristics would be much more noticeable. But in this setting, it was a very nice Chablis showing more typicity on the nose than the palate. Drink or hold. Excellent. 90+
