November 15, 2023 - Really delicious elegant wine. Sam Adams note below captures the profile, but I’d rank it a bit higher today.

April 3, 2023 - Quite an elegant showing. Nose of fresh blackcurrant, bay leave, cedar, earth, touch of barnyard, leather and wet leaves as well as a tiny bit of caspicum. Shows quite some development, while still having primary fruits. Drinks nicely now. No need to want. I do not see this improving a great deal. Nice acidity and moderate and well integrated tannins. Not overly polished. Quite the wine you want to drink in between the blackbuster years.

January 23, 2023 - Black and red fruit, spices, woody but not in an overpowering way. The tannins are well integrated though I think I’d welcome just a touch more structure. It’s good. But could be more expressive. Overall a smooth, inoffensive wine for food or sipping solo.

January 15, 2023 - Eric Asimov liked this and mentioned it as a good value Bordeaux. We enjoyed it. Nicely balanced. But no dimension really stood out.

January 3, 2023 - Elegant, mild, with lots of fresh dark fruit, powerful, not austere, invigorating and intelligent. Like we like to drink red from those parts. From an attractive year that does not require a long wait. The cassis cool, the blackberries good, the berries sour but not bitter, the laurel and the fun.
