November 7, 2017 - Opened alongside the 2007. Ripe apple and baked apple with very good concentration. Started off very lush and forward, but more interesting energy and textural charm emerged over several hours in glass. I slightly preferred this 2006 over the 2007 for current enjoyment, but expect the 2007 to be better in a few more years.

August 29, 2015 - Plenty of orchard fruit start-to-finish with lots of slightly sweet spice. Nicely mature, ever-so-slightly warm notes from the vintage, so I wouldn't cellar this much longer-term. Very tasty today.

October 19, 2014 - Fantastic, lemon, minerals and spice on the nose. Very well balanced palate with a seductive silky mouthfeel. Very atypical 06.
