September 30, 2023 - Burgundy tasting (K&L Wine Merchant - San Francisco): Brooding yet elegant dark purple fruits on the nose with intensely aromatic garden flowers. A good stiff arm from dark green flower stems brings a nice change of direction, providing beautiful contrast. There is a light and swift dusting of atomized graphite in the air as well.
Palate completely matches the nose with great purity here, completely dry on the palate. A shiny mineral character on the sides of the palate and on the finish too. A good amount of acidity provides excitement. Some air time would help, despite how good it shows already. -

August 31, 2023 - Decant. Dark and primary on open. Needs air to show and reveal a more delicate nature. Very full and complete with loads of ripe fruit and bright acidity.
