January 14, 2014 - {screwcap, 14.5%} Aging leathery and blackberry fruit. Slightly lean palate, with attractive aging savoury qualities, medium dusty tannins, medium weight, subtle acid and a medium length dry finish. Pleasant aging wine; can’t see a whole lot of improvement to come.

November 22, 2013 - {screwcap, 14.5%} Sweetly aging blackberry and spice fruit, smelling as much cabernet as shiraz. The palate is pretty soft as far as tannins go, and has a distinctly aging profile to the vaguely composty (bretty?) flavours. Weighs in at medium-bodied, but with only a short-medium length finish. OK wine, not too exciting, ready to drink.
