November 22, 2023 - Apple, lemon, brioche, nuts with mild bubble. Gently acidic and stay quite long in tongue. Hints of maturation but definitely need more time. Nice qpr.

November 24, 2022 - Thanksgiving opening wine. Reminds me of NV Bollinger, but with a bit more age. Pinot forward, though supposedly equal parts Pinot and Chardonnay. Red fruits, brioche, and medium acidity. Enjoyable and quite a bargain at $60 a bottle.

September 26, 2022 - Tasted as part of the Gargantuan dinner/tasting with Manuel/Harley last Friday at Coalla in Madrid....
This was the opener, a good champagne with enough body and ripeness to leave a lasting impression on the palate. Excellent balance, mouthfeel and weight.
Good and steady perlage, nice smell of brioche. A perfect opener for what was to follow. I had not encountered this producer before. It is now on my radar.

September 23, 2022 - Bandreas & Company Stopped in Madrid; 9/23/2022-9/24/2022 (Coalla - Madrid): After melting that foam produced by fine bubbles, appear lush aromas of brioche and red berries on the nose, accompanied by notes of toasted cereals and a noticeable saline blow. Palate is younger and less aristocratic with a vibrant acidity, tasty echoes of the nose in the middle of the palate and a salivating finish. Very good but the best is yet to come in my humble opinion. To the last drop.
