  April 18, 2024 - Decanted for a little bit over an hour this Wine was simply excellent. Savored with a delicious pasta with peppers and sausage dish.

  March 28, 2024 - Grüne Tannine überschatten alles. Trocknet den Mund wortwörtlich aus. Auch nach Stunden wirkt der 2019er als wäre er gerade erst abgefüllt worden. Jetzt zu öffnen ist eine absolute Verschwendung und weit entfernt von dem, was der Flaccianello noch zu leisten vermag. Unbedingt liegen lassen und sich auch eine erste Probe durchaus noch 2-3 Jahre aufsparen.

  March 6, 2024 - During a MOT walkabout tasting, no detailed notes. Like the 2020, this had very drying tannins. Unpleasant today, may be age will help. 88-91

  January 22, 2024 - The wonderful thing about these wines is the craft and care that the producer, Giovanni Manetti, is able to lavish in maximizing the essence of each vintage.
  
  Since 2013 the ratings for this wine have not fallen below 95/100. The 2019 is delightfully light on the palate - very fruit forward but still maintaining a profundity and roundedness on the finish. Yet another delightful exponent of the Sangiovese grape - elegant, memorable from one vintage to another. I can’t recommend this wine highly enough.
  
  Enjoy. Drink some now and enjoy it in its development.
