  March 13, 2014 - Bright angry dogs pee colour, straw, some lemon/honey and a smooth long dry finish with sort of a nice tongue overall of mild peach, read dough and honey..... kind of starts a little sweet .... weird wine recommended by my local mate.... this bottle has been perfectly cellared and is drinking well... reminds me of a very old Hunter Valley Semillon on the edge

  October 27, 2011 - Bright golden yellow color. Nose of toast. Nice, crisp acidity with a smooth mouthfeel. Creamy in the mouth. It's either got no finish or a very long one. Can't tell yet.

  December 11, 2009 - Initial nose off bott neck of crazy rusty funk. Weird on palate w evolving nose too w honey and wheat thins, bit of woodsy spiciness, touch of violet. Slightly evocative of Brovia tasted w zach and daly, but w wheat thins filling in for violet. Same slight fizziness, salty character....w air, nose begins to tend towards sulphur and violet, earth and mushrooms/sous bois...nose reminds me of the funky metallic shell of an over the hill 72 volnay I'd recently had...this must be a bad bott or over the hill. After working w this bottle for an hour, and consulting previous tasting notes, I give up: it's obvious this is all wrong.
