March 8, 2023 - Floral and mineral-flecked meursault with richness as backdrop rather than front and center. Hazelnut, sweet pear, medium body. A little shy at the moment, but well-balanced/integrated. Lovely work.

June 9, 2022 - Well, I must commit to be back as a fan of this Domaine (Had some disappointments with various wines from the Domaine in vintages ´10, ´12 and even ´14, but that is forgotten now). This Meursault Monopole (with the vineyard just behind the domain buildings) is close to superb. Yes, very young and will develop further, but at this point it has a perfect balance, and the freshness in the acidity is captured perfect by the nicely packed fruitiness. So lovely and enjoyable now that it will be hard to keep my fingers off the remaining bottles, despite that it surely will develop over the next 3-5 years. 91-93P
