April 29, 2023 - The best wine at the tasting today and was not even close. Rustic and old world in nature. Raspberries, wood, earth, mushrooms and dried floral. Medium finish and nice acidity.

April 28, 2023 - Dark fruit, broken dry earth, dried herbs, dried berries — decent aromatic and palate intensity. There’s an element of this wine that makes it feel sort of overcooked, it’s not that the wine is too jammy texturally but there is definitely a flavor element that makes it feel a little hot and dried — doesn’t have a ton of freshness. That’s said, solid intensity with enough Brunello specificity.
