March 8, 2024 - I can rarely remember a more intense wine. Masses of red fruits infused with deep raisin notes. Class. Real power and intensity in the flavour. Perhaps could do with a touch more depth mid palate but this is so long, balanced and sweet. An absolutely classic Tawny.

December 25, 2021 - My third time with this amazing Tawny style Ozzie fortified red. Opened on Christmas day and everyone loved it (how could you not?). Insane value if you can get it when Waitrose do their 25% off. See my previous tasting note.

December 31, 2020 - Nice complexity. Some sweetness but not too sweet. Dried fruit, salinity and nutty. Quite long.

May 20, 2020 - A vision into Oz's past. True to the Port style, even made from Port varieties - Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinya Barroca. Bottled 2018. A stand out of a recent blind tasting, highly recommend, VFM.
N: Dried cherries, pungent dates, rich and brooding. Dried red fruit.
P: Lots of pretty red fruit (more than I'd expect from a Portuguese), potpourri spice. Complex oxidative, meaty, almost Madeira nuttiness/yeastiness. Brilliant balance, integrated alcohol.
F: Dry, smashed almonds, figs.
