  April 2, 2024 - Second bottle. Still like. See my prior note. I would add that it is lean and shows smoke and tar. On day 2 I am picking up more bitterness (not unpleasant) and what seems like Slavonian oak, almost like a Montefalco Rosso.

  August 10, 2023 - Very solid ChC. Modest nose with a touch of iron. Medium bodied. Good weight. The 14% ABV feels more like 13.5%. Nice mouthfeel. Some chalk. Showing nicely even in its youth. A touch of tar in the finish. Throwing some sediment. $20G. Get one or two more. 91- pts. Better on day#2.

  June 28, 2023 - Modest vanilla nose. Medium to full bodied, well balanced, some jam and chalk- very enjoyable.
