March 23, 2024 - Lovely stuff; closed with natural cork; there is super fresh lemon and green apple along with minerality and a hint of reduction. The palate is fresh and bright, but with ample depth of citrus and orchard fruits. Lovely village wine that should continue to develop well assuming it doesn't oxidize first...

June 23, 2023 - First bottle of Henri Germain; very good stuff; initially the nose was mostly crushed hazelnut and some spice; with about 30-45 min of air it began to open up and blossom with lemon peel, pear, golden apple, minerality, and floral notes; the palate gained some depth as it initially felt a touch thin, but really filled out and was excellent with food; on the leaner side for Meursault, but with beautiful freshness and acidity and very good transparency. Should drink well for a decade; short decant recommended now; closed with natural cork
