  June 11, 2017 - Opened and Decanted about 99 minutes before dinner. Enjoyed with grilled chicken and asparagus. Good fruit still as expected because we stored in a temperature controlled facility. Balanced and smooth.

  July 26, 2014 - This is drinking very well tonight after several hours of air with rich, penetrating dark red fruit, earth, some damp brambly underbrush, some sanguine notes and firm chalky tannins on the mid length finish. Really nice and in a good place tonight.

  June 15, 2013 - This is delightful today. With about an hour of double decanting, this is presenting a fairly masculine mouthful with red and dark fruit, abit of spice, sous bois and earth, some sanguine or maybe gamey notes and perhaps a hint of smoke. The tannins are firm and chalky on the med length finish. Quite nice.

  August 19, 2012 - Pretty nose of red fruit, violets, spice and earth. The palate is feminine with soft, round red fruit, earth and sous bois along with some floral and white pepper notes. There are some dusty tannins on the med length finnish and this is drinking very well today with a couple of hours of air.
