  December 31, 2023 - Dark purple color, with no hint of bricking. Decanted for about an hour. Nose was purple paint and dark berries, maybe blackberry. Some brambles, but totally smooth and easy drinking. No hint of ethanol to compete with the fruit. Frankly wished I’d opened sooner!

  August 1, 2023 - Tasted from a magnum. Proves that this wine requires patience. Spot on with chocolate , herbs and coffee notes. Little sweetness/ balsamico showing. But still plenty of fruit and structure to live for another decade.

  August 27, 2022 - Opened to celebrate Lynn's getting the business under contract. Tons of funk on the nose right when I opened the bottle. In fact, I worried it might be corked. But all good. Funk remained even after a four hout decant, like forest floor, along with dark fruit and cocoa. Huge flavor, extremely rich. Black fruit, chocolate, oriental spice, black pepper, cedar on the palate. Very complex. Long finish.
