Community Tasting Notes 2

November 28, 2014 - I kept it a bit to long in cellar. It has lost most of its fruit. But you can still taste the strong sour cherry with mature plum tones. But the alcohol (13 pst.) are very markant. It has some likes to very old Bordeaux. It needed some air to open up. When first opened, no smell at all. A bit warmer it came thru with some tones of vulcan, almost sulfitic smell. But it cleared up after half an hour. Possibel it was a bit cold when opened. Over all a pleasant surprise fore such a cheap wine, kept 8 years in cellar.
