  March 17, 2024 - Give this some time, and you'll be rewarded by a proper Pinot punching well above its class. At the moment it is quite dark, with dark cherry, lots of intensity, but already a supple texture. I'll leave mine for at least 1-2 years more.

  February 24, 2024 - Noe uren/volatil ved åpning, men blåser bort etter en time på karaffel.
  
  Fargen er svart som natten.
  
  Og det er aromabildet også. Søte sorte kirsebær. Mye fatkrydder. Vitner om en varm årgang.
  
  I munn har den imponerende kons og lengde for å være en regionalvin.
  
  Men frukten blir i overkant søt. Savner energi og balanse.

  February 14, 2024 - Robe bien sombre, qui laisse songeur...A l’agitation un très beau fruit noir se présente, et vient littéralement embaumer le verre. Très belle bouche qui suit, ce vin semble d’une exceptionnelle gourmandise. Il n’est pas puissant, même si rien ne lui manque, mais d’une telle intensité !!! Et tout cela finit très longuement sur des couches incessantes de fruits. Magnifique ! Buvez le dès maintenant, sur cet éclat exceptionnel !

  September 7, 2023 - Mercury Mouth ft Becky Wasserman Burgs w/Tim Davey (E&R Wines, Portland OR): The nose is lifted and perfumed with red berries, red cherries, raspberries, savory herbs, rose petals, and spice notes. There is good depth for the level, but it is still a bourgogne. The Medium bodied feel is balanced and deft with crisp, medium acidity and silky, medium tannins. The structure shows off some youth and this certainly punches hard for a Bourgogne Rouge. There is room for this to grow and I hope I come across this again in a few years.

Med+ body, spice, med tannins, med+ acidity, and med finish. Good concentration. Apparently this wine sees no new oak but seemed oaky coming off of the Les Horees.
