April 12, 2022 - Coravin Glass. Very light yellow color. The nose changed over 2 hours from wonderful sweetness driven bouquet to oxidized and back. Probably because of age. Palate is a bit austere and dry but can identify notes of melon, citrus, butter and vanilla. Interesting additional secondary aromas poppig up. Complex. Austere medium finish. Probably not a wine for coravin? Long decant needed?

October 4, 2019 - From 3L. Perfectly maturity. Complex. Nutty, fruit, vanilla, loads of stuff. Low in acidity so drink up.

May 25, 2019 - Fine Wines SG - White Burgundy Grand Cru Tasting (Fine Wines SG): Nose started a bit restrained, and then shows melons, peach, mango, grass. Acidic on palate, fairly intense, and high alcohol, with peach, apricot, mango, bread, grass, soy. Still not convinced of why this wine is at such a premium, although it’s pretty good

May 25, 2019 - Last wine in the line up. The nose is very shy still for a wine with 10+ years of age. Underneath some herbs, lemon peel, oats. The palate is a real hit. Both unctuous and fresh at the same time, excellent. May be this needs more time for the aromatics to unfold. Palate 97, aromas 94.

April 2, 2018 - 2006 Burgundy Dinner (Imperial Treasure Super Peking Duck, Paragon): Rather bigger and sweeter than normal, but this was still a pretty fine wine. The nose started with a rather sweet waft of caramel corn along with more typical notes of white fruit, cream and florals, and then a little twirl of minerality at the edges. A pretty attractive bouquet. The palate had that same sweetness suggested on the nose, fanning out in a creamily textured mouthful of stone fruit and honey laced with a blush of spice. Well integrated and decently balanced, with plenty of Montrachet's effortless. There was quite a bit of glycerol popping up here and there, especially leading to a long but rather heavy weighted finish. Otherwise, this was very pleasurable, just lacked a touch of the polish and finesse that one would expect from a Marquis de Laguiche Monty.
