January 25, 2009 - More elegant than most KW's, this impresses with deep red currant and strawberry flavors, silky, weighty, mouthfeel, and an impressively long finish. This was good right out of the bottle for me with no real change as it was consumed over 3 hours.

March 11, 2008 - Very harsh when first uncorked. Decanted for an two hours, very mineral taste/smell. Opened up beautifully by third hour

September 8, 2007 - Decanted for 2 hours. Dark garnet with no browning at edges. Deep, almost musky nose. Medium to full body with a rich mouth feel. Nice combination of good acidity with sweet fruit. Deep plummy taste. Long Aftertaste. Overall, just a really nice wine drinking very well now.
